　　   福建永春佛手茶业集团拥有上万亩优质生态茶园,年生产加工乌龙茶5000-8000吨,70%外销,30%内销,畅销日本、东南亚、俄罗斯、美国、香港等三十多个国家和地区.永春佛手系列产品中拥有国优、部优、省优及各种国际、国内博览会金奖等荣誉30多项,一直是国内外市场上的主导产品.
    永春茶厂创办于1950年,至今已有50多年的历史,其间,几经迁徙,几经变革,从无到有,从小到大,不断发展.
         1950年8月,由中国茶叶公司福建分公司在就永春县五里街镇创建,至今已半个世纪多.  
　　 1955年9月,永春茶厂,隶属福建省茶叶进口公司.
　　 1958年8月,经全国供销社批准,由省供销合作总社投资60万元,在永春县五里街儒林兴建永春茶厂新厂房,1960年10月竣工.实现了半机械化精制.
　　1971年1月,永春茶厂下放为县地方国营茶厂,隶属县工业局.
　　1981年5月,永春茶厂兴建"永春县茶叶小包装加工厂"（属县办集体）,年生产量约500吨.1986年投资326万,进行技术改进,年精制能力从2500吨扩大到5000吨,产品80%外销
      1987年2月,永春县人民政府决定把县茶叶公司所属的18家茶叶采购站和4家分站划归永春茶厂,使其成为收购、加工、销售一条龙.
      1990年,永春茶厂投资兴建速溶乌龙茶车间,年生产能力15吨.
      1996年12月,经国家外经贸部批准,永春茶厂获得自营进口权,成为国内乌龙茶精制厂唯一拥有自营进出口权的生产企业.同年4月省外经贸委下达首期计划配额1000吨.经过8个月的努力.于12月份圆满完成首次自营出口乌龙茶1000吨出口额指标,至2001年,乌龙茶出口量跃居全国第五位.
      2001年10月,被国家农业部等八部委审定为农业产业化国家重点龙头企业
      2003年11月,经永春县人民政府批准,永春茶厂改制为"福建省安溪茶厂有限公司"并以其核心企业组建"福建省永春佛手集团".
